Wow, it's been a while
I feel like I've been on hiatus without meaning to. It's been kinda hectic this month. I've gone on 4 interviews so far and I have another one tomorrow. And right now, I'm really stressed because I haven't had any more interview offers come in. At this point, I'm really afraid that I won't match for a residency for next year.

I haven't properly fangirled about stuff in a long time, and there's so many things to fangirl about! I just got KinKi's new album in the mail and it is GORGEOUS. I haven't even listened to everything yet but just the packaging is fantastic. And the pictures! They both look so fabulous in the pictures.

And while Arashi's new single doesn't really wow me, I kinda love their new PV. They're finally getting back to the more fun and dorky roots. Sure, the colors are really dark and muted, but the spirit of the PV is really fun. Very reminiscent of the "Happiness" PV, except with a dark palette.

Last but not least, Sho's new drama! I love it! And not just because it's Sho and he plays a sexy butler. I love mystery stories, and while these mysteries have plotholes up the whazoo, it keeps me watching, guessing, and entertained. So far, my favorite scene has to be this:

Is it surprising that Sho is best when he's acting like he's being abused?

And Keiko! She is freakin' awesome. I think she's gorgeous and has amazing range as an actress. And this is the best face ever:

Current Mood: amused
Current Music: *silence*

I was impressed when Keiko did a whole scene with no make-up! she looked so homely man! I wanted to cuddle her so bad! XD <3

also this reminds me that I need to listen to K Album too, sadly I've been drowning in eito too much to notice it was out already! lol

Man I really need to get into this drama more huh? XP

Wait, which scene was that? I'm either blanking or have not seen it. I'm waiting for subs before I watch the episodes because it's one of those shows where understanding only ~60-70% of it just doesn't cut it.

I actually haven't even listened to it because I'm leaving town tomorrow and don't want to mess with it now. I've just been admiring the packaging, which is so beautiful.

Yes, this drama is quite entertaining! ^_^

the start of ep 4. She looks so homely man, I like it! :)

I just listened to some songs now and I quite like the big bandness in half of these songs and the Exile likeness songs in the other. XP <3

and I'm following along slowly but surely... XP

I hope your interviews go well!! do your best :D

I love nazo-di too :D they are adorable even if the mysteries are stupid and it's really funny :)

Thank you! I'll try my bestest!

The mysteries are so outlandish and the way Sho!butler solves them is really a huge stretch (as in I can't imagine that it'd ever hold up in a court of law), but it's entertaining, nonetheless.

Good luck on your interview tomorrow!!! And I hope the previous interviews all went well *fingers crossed* I sympathize with your worry about not getting matched for next year - I remember that acceptance panic from grad school apps all too well.

(I'm sorry if this is insensitive to your worry, but I'm curious: in the event that the worst case scenario happens and you don't get a match, what are your options?)

I really need to watch that show. I love Keiko (priceless face in that cap!) and who can pass up Sho as a butler?

Thank you! I feel like the previous interviews didn't go horribly, but you never know. It's a lot of people vying for only a few spots, so you need to stand out, which I can't say I am.

(I can scramble into a residency spot somewhere. If I'm lucky, there'll be an unfilled anesthesia spot somewhere in the country. If not, I can either pick another specialty to go into, or postpone residency for a year and try again during the next Match.)

I recommend it. It's a nice, light-hearted detective show. Sho!butler is teasingly sadistic and Keiko is fantastic in this comedic role. They look great together.

Good luck on your interviews!!

KinKi's album is amazing (the tracks that I've listened to so far, at least)! ♥

That gif has convinced me to put Nazodi on the top of my to-watch list. 8D

I'm really enjoying Nazo-di (is that how we call it?) too so far. Sho is hotter than my expectation and the dynamic between Reiko and Kageyama is great! Okay, the case are pretty stupid, but it is still entertaining in japanese comedy-sort of way. I'm crossing my fingers that Kageyama is actually Reiko's fiancee, no matter how cheesy that will be :D

And good luck for the interviews!
