I went to Mitsuwa today and bought this:

Those CMs really work. And the drink? Quite refreshing. Well done, Sho, well done.

I needed to cheer myself up so I made this to watch on loop:

Koichi, please never change.

Thank you to everyone that commented to my last post! I will try my best!

I love it when my schoolwork pops up in my shows.

I learned all these drugs last block. And the only one I had to look up again was quetiapine. Yay for unintentional studying!

I need to stop eating while watching Bones. I'm good with dead bodies and all, but some of the ones they have on that show are just plain gross. For some reason, a whole corpse is fine and clean bones are fine, but fleshy bones creep me out.

I've always been interested by the music that the Japanese chooses to put in their video clips. I've heard a lot of random stuff but the music at the beginning of this clip amused me to no end.

Does anyone recognize it? It's the opening theme to Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Oh, the dorky nostalgia.

And the opening to Shiyagare is hot.

After taking a 4-hour Comprehensive Science Exam (aka mock Step 1), I've concluded that I have learned absolutely nothing these past 2 years. And I think I've lost some knowledge I did have 2 years ago. Out of the 184 questions, I'll be lucky if I got 20% right. This does not bode well for my Step 1 exam in June.

I was on a 2855 winning streak in FreeCell but because I accidentally pressed the wrong button, that's over. Now I'm back to 5. I'm kinda saddened by it. Am I a total dork? The answer is yes.

Went down to Peoria and Champaign-Urbana for the weekend to see some friends. [ profile] thefeifei got me some Arashi stuff during her Asia trip! I'll provide pictures later. I definitely intend to use one of the things I got during my clinical rotations. Muaha!

That's right, people, I have reached 4000+ unread e-mails in my Gmail inbox. I'm actually somewhat proud. I'm gonna keep going to see how far I can get before Gmail gets angry or something.

And my dad's thinking of buying a new car 'cause our Corolla is reaching its 14th year. I personally think that car can still last us a few years, but my mom's paranoid about safety. He originally wanted to get a used Lexus but with the recent Toyota recalls, he's off that idea. He asked for my opinion and I had to try really hard not to suggest getting the SHO. XD I need help, I know. You've all friended a crazy person.

Getting an iPhone next month! I'm kind of excited and a little wary. But at least I don't have to carry my iPod and phone separately anymore. Not looking forward to the outrageous price for the data plan, though. I want to find a cool case/cover for it. Anyone know a site that has some cool designs?

[EDIT] I may have found my future case. Never underestimate my love affair with Coke.

My family used to own a Ford Taurus station wagon. It broke in every way imaginable while still managing to function as a car. The automatic doors, windows and seats all stopped working. The tape player and radio ceased to function. The trunk refused to open. Even the ignition decided to be a bitch to a point where my dad was the only one that knew how to start the car. This was all on top of the little things that had be fixed so we didn't all die in a burning pile of wreckage. My dad says Ford stands for "Fix or repair daily" and it was so true.

After the car completely and utterly quit on us (on the side of the road, btw), we ditched it for a shiny new car. And I swore I would never buy a Ford, much less a Ford Taurus, again. But people, I'd be sorely tempted to buy a SHO.

The fourth and newest generation is assembled in Chicago! Clearly, it was meant to be.

But being what it is, it's probably filled with hidden fail under its shiny and perfect exterior. XD

I will be back later to like and gripe about this week's Himitsu.

I found a breakfast food that Nino would enjoy:

It looks simple, cheap, and Nintendo-approved.

Today was pretty awesome!

Since we didn't have afternoon classes, a couple of friends and I went to Illinois for some fabulous shopping. We ate delicious ramen for lunch at Mitsuwa! And then spent like 5 hours at Ikea, just goofing around. We spent the whole time going to displays and saying, "When I get rich, my kitchen/living room/study/bedroom will be this awesome." To be fair, 2 out of the 4 of us actually did need to buy stuff from there. Me, this was my first trip to Ikea EVER. Sad, I know.

And then it was back to Mitsuwa for some shopping. I bought some random stuff (I found "Extra Hot" curry cubes!) and then I perused the magazine stand. I finally settled on the February Myojo with Arashi on the cover. It came with an Arashi pin-up as well as several pages of gorgeous KinKi pictures. How could I resist? (It also came with a Hey!Say!JUMP CD/DVD fold-out cardboard box. Not sure what to do with that since I don't like H!S!JUMP.) And after the shopping, udon for dinner! Maximum umai.

So yeah, great day! Spent a shitload of money, but still, GREAT DAY!
