We practiced how to do eye exams on each other in class today. That meant that we all had to get one eye dilated. Surprisingly, in my numerous visits to the optometrist, I've never had my eyes dilated before. It's a weird feeling, especially since we numbed our eyes beforehand so the dilating solution wouldn't sting. But we did get to use the slit lamp machine, which was pretty spiffy. And I was given an excuse not to study 'cause my depth perception was completely out of wack for about 6 hours or so.
Sooooooooooooo, I watched the season premier of
Grey's Anatomy instead! Two hours of drama, drama, drama. As a medical show, I still like
House so much better. I despise soap operas so
Grey's sometimes hit a nerve. And with so many of the original characters gone or changed beyond recognition (character-wise), it feels like a completely different show from the one I got sucked into. I seriously only watch now for Christina Yang 'cause I love snarky and bitchy characters. And to see if Izzie will die or not. The premise for the next few episodes seem interesting enough to keep me watching for now. But if they bring back Denny again, I may have to kill someone.
