I'm at work right now so I don't have access to pretty, pretty pictures, but I wanted to wish my ichiban, the wonderful Sakurai Sho-san, a very happy 30th birthday. I can't believe that Yama are now in their 30's. But they're still young and dorky at heart (and on TV).

I quickly sped through this week's episode (raw) and I just wanted to say...OMG, I want to know what's going to happen!!!!! I want it to be next week already. I also cannot wait for subs, but it'll only make me yearn for the finale even more. I love Kageyama.

I feel like I've been on hiatus without meaning to. It's been kinda hectic this month. I've gone on 4 interviews so far and I have another one tomorrow. And right now, I'm really stressed because I haven't had any more interview offers come in. At this point, I'm really afraid that I won't match for a residency for next year.

But on to more happier, fangirly things. )

I went to Mitsuwa today and bought this:

Those CMs really work. And the drink? Quite refreshing. Well done, Sho, well done.

My family used to own a Ford Taurus station wagon. It broke in every way imaginable while still managing to function as a car. The automatic doors, windows and seats all stopped working. The tape player and radio ceased to function. The trunk refused to open. Even the ignition decided to be a bitch to a point where my dad was the only one that knew how to start the car. This was all on top of the little things that had be fixed so we didn't all die in a burning pile of wreckage. My dad says Ford stands for "Fix or repair daily" and it was so true.

After the car completely and utterly quit on us (on the side of the road, btw), we ditched it for a shiny new car. And I swore I would never buy a Ford, much less a Ford Taurus, again. But people, I'd be sorely tempted to buy a SHO.

The fourth and newest generation is assembled in Chicago! Clearly, it was meant to be.

But being what it is, it's probably filled with hidden fail under its shiny and perfect exterior. XD

I will be back later to like and gripe about this week's Himitsu.

This picture makes me happy.

So cute!

That is all.

P.S. I might fangirl about today's AnS later on, but for now, I'm in desperate need for a nap.

It's August.

I'm poorer again thanks to rent. I just started my new volunteer research so that means no more sleeping in and doing nothing all day. M-1 Orientation starts next week and that means classes start soon. I have Saturday Free Clinic this weekend.

But it's allllllllllll good because there's a half-naked stripper!Sho hanging on my wall. August and September are gonna be fun.

I swear I've been keeping up with everyone's LJs but I've just been too lazy or busy to comment. I'm a horrible LJ friend.

1 week into my summer and I'm still not quite sure what it's gonna look like in the long run. I have a meeting with a professor in an hour to talk about a possible summer project (but I'm volunteering for it so I won't be paid). My free clinic schedules are set and they're kinda just scattered throughout the summer. I haven't contacted the doctor I'll be shadowing 'cause I don't know what my schedule is like yet. I have no idea what the Habitat thing will be like for the summer. And there's my Alaskan vacation, the IMSA reunion weekend and a wedding to attend in August. I need to do my club and committee duties, as well. Even with all this going on, I still feel like a bum compared to all my friends that are doing research.

On another note, The Quiz Show is getting sooooooooooooooo good! Sho-chan is so great in this role. Honma needs to be sedated. I totally didn't expect the new twist in episode 8. Can't wait for the next episode!

Anyone know where I can download the recent AnS episode with Kobayashi Mao and Shinichi Hatori? And are there links to the latest AnS episode yet? I always seem to miss stuff when I'm not constantly checking LJ.

I slept late last night because I had to do my PBL write-up for class today. I hate presenting in PBL class 'cause it's just so pointless. Then at noon, our a capella group had to perform (which I didn't mind) but there were only 3 sopranos so that was a little challenging. After lunch was a 3.5 hour lab, where I learned practically nothing. Then phlebotomy training at 5 PM. And since I'm afraid of hurting people, I freaked out a bit. Luckily, I didn't hurt my lovely volunteer and got the blood drawn successfully. And physio tutoring from 7-9 PM.

I'm sooooooooooooooo tired!

I really wanna watch the second season of The Quiz Show. Sho looks so eerily creepy and evil. I'm so intrigued to see him in this role.

It's that time again: exam week! >.< 1 exam down, 2 more to go. And I have medical interviewing this week, as well as meetings for Habitat for Humanity. This week is gonna suck so much.

Anyway, has anyone ever looked closely at their irises. I think they're fascinating. If you look close enough with good lighting, you can see the edges of the pupillae dilator muscles. I definitely stared at my pupils dilating and constricting in the mirror for a good minute after I took out my contacts this morning. Really pretty, I say. Everyone should just stare at their irises for a while and appreciate their function.

You know what I did during my last mentor visit? When I had absolutely nothing to do, which was most of the time, I was thinking about the five inner Sailor Senshis and which member of Arashi would fit into which role. Yes, I was that bored during my mentor visit.

Fighting evil by moonlight )

But where's the fangirling? )

Can you tell that I need sleep? I think I've gotten an average of 3 hours of sleep per day for the last 3 days.

Gonna pass out now. Nighty-night. Zzzzzzzzzzzz...
