I'm gonna describe a plot of a movie and you guys enter your guess. I'm gonna be kinda vague 'cause otherwise it'd be just too easy.

Movie plot:

A regular farmboy (A) happens upon something (B) one normal day that changes his life forever. This thing is be something that the evile Empire is after and they're willing to kill for it. In fact, they killed his uncle while the A and B were away from home. With a dead uncle and the Empire after them, A and B decide to leave town. On their journey, they are aided by a wise old man (C), who we later find out is one of last remnants of an ancient order that possess great powers. Oh, and guess what, A happens to be the first of a possible new order so C helps A train his growing powers. Along the way, they meet a rogue-like character (D) and they all travel together. They are eventually captured by the Empire but they break out, and rescue a "damsel in distress" (E), who actually sent B to C in the first place but instead got picked up by A. (Wheee, connections!) After they all escape, they wind up travelling to a secret base of a band of rebels who are fighting against the Empire. BUT, servants of the Empire find their base and there's a great battle. The battle ends when A defeats the main enemy, by luck, 'cause his companions provided a momentary distraction which allowed him to attack in the first place.

Sorta. Most people said Star Wars and I was expecting that, but to those of you who have read Eragon, it has the exact same plot as what was described above.

Eragon (A) finds a dragon egg (B), which the Empire wants very badly. Brom (C) is the Ben Kenobi character that helps Eragon. They meet up with Murtagh (D) and rescue Arya (E) from the dungeons. Arya tried to send the egg to Brom but it didn't quite make it. Then they go to the rebel base, have a huge battle and win.

Yay for re-used plotlines!
