At lab for the 3rd straight Sunday
I think I may be able to go home relatively early today. And by relatively early, I mean before 7:00. Wheeeeeeeeeee!

My f-list needs to keep me amused.

Because I am a loser that cannot read my first language, I was so happy when I found out that the first episode of PuriPuri D was subtitled in English. *.* But where is episode 5?!?!?! Me wanna see~!

I finished yet another J-dorama last night, Attention Please. I started watching it 'cause of the actor that played Asou-kun in 1 Litre. Didn't really like it at the beginning but it grew on me, as much as a show about flight attendants can grow on someone. I do like that mostly all J-dorama are only 11 episodes. Less downloading for me.

Because of my computer-illiteracy, I need help. My cousin's boyfriend wants to buy a laptop but he doesn't have that much money to spend, say a few hundred dollars. What's a good laptop that's not really expensive? It doesn't have to be top-of-the-art or anything like that, just functional and practical. And doesn't break easily. Help? (I'm mostly looking at the guys (Paul, Sam, John, Mengyao))

WOAH!
I finished Attention Please last night too! Craziness.
Although I started watching in April...

Ueto Aya must be the cutest actress ever. You should listen to her music, it's very very addicting. She's an idol that can *gasp* actually sing.

On the other hand, Ryo was in like all of 5 minutes each episode. I don't understand why they even bothered listing him second in the credits.

He could always buy that $100 laptop.

What $100 laptop?
[identity profile] paakun.livejournal.com on August 7th, 2006 05:27 pm (UTC)
You know the $100 laptop for poor kids in undeveloped countries with a little hand crank for power.

I don't think he's that poor.

So, no suggestions then?

He'd probably be best off trying to find a used, or just old laptop somewhere at some sort of generic computer store.

Companies might sell low-end stuff, but it's not that low-end.

If not that. I do like Toshiba.

I forgot to mention that he's in China and we would actually be buying it for him and taking it back. >.< So, the least amount of effort, the better.

Thanksgiving is coming up ...

My parents are going back in September.

Well. Buying a new laptop is expensive, even for the low end ones.

They'll use the internet and word processing. If he wants to play games ...

Can't think of anything below $1000? I don't think he's gonna be playing games, not with his budget.
