Good news:
My experiment worked! These two weeks of work was not for nothing and I now have data supporting our hypothesis. Wheeeeeeeeee! And my boss said that just with the data I have now, I definitely have enough for an abstract at a conference. Sweet. ^_^ And my boss also said that there should be no more need for me to plate cells. Double-sweet.

Bad news:
With the recent success, I need to run more samples so we can add a * to our data, with error bars. So, I pretty much gotta run at least 4 more gels and all of them have to support the data I have now. That means I will be here till 9:00 again, doing the stupid Western blots. -.-

Good news:
If I do get the 3 different sets of data to support each other, I've got a paper! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Bad news:
This all pretty much adds up to more work for me in my last week here. I've got 5 days to cram on that work in. 5 days!
