Anita is gonna buy something expensive!

I've decided that with the current inflow of birthday money, I can afford to indulge a little. Just a little. After this, no more buying stuff for at least a few months for me. No matter how hot Kazuki looks on his new single. *whimper*

My uncle sent me a check for $40 so that'll take care of half the cosplay cost. And if I can get someone to exchange cash for the IUB gift cards I just got, I'll have $65 towards my costume. And if I can get someone to exchange cash for the Best Buy gift cards I have, I'll have more than enough to pay for the whole thing! Sooooooooo, who wants to exchange cash for gift cards that I'll probably never use? *puppy eyes*

I also need a measuring tape. Anyone have one?

I hate p-chem. These Wednesday night "optional" discussions are eating into my schedule. And I don't wanna go. I hate p-chem.

The IUB gift cards was from working as an I-Guide and the Best Buy ones was from when I won at bingo at the department picnic. I earned those gift cards! The only birthday present I'm using came in the form of a check. =P

Not entirely true. My brothers, father's parents and Ruthenbergs did.

But that still leaves a lot of people who didn't.

Only reason my uncle recognized it is 'cause we recognized Colin's birthday. I took him out to dinner and my parents gave him a check. My uncle would be losing face if he forgot mine.

Yeah, but you can't expect everyone to recognize it. As long as the people who really matter in your life remembered; I think that's most important.
