I'm back from China and Orientation has started. The jetlag is killer so I hope to barely survive the week and work on getting back to US time later. BUT running on Beijing time really helps when I'm watching the Olympics.

Before I say anything else, don't ask me about Opening Ceremony 'cause there was a last minute problem with the tickets (the frustrating details surrounding it will come later) so I didn't get to go. I'll also explain why I'm glad I didn't go at a later time.

Just moments ago, Chinese men's gymnastics team won the gold medal and all I have to say is that I got to watch them in person!!!. It wasn't for the finals but I did watch them perform during the qualifying rounds. It was China, Japan, Russia, Canada, France and a mixed group on the floor at the time. Pretty awesometastic performances. Details to come later in probably several ginormous posts. Stay tuned.

Notice to Feifei, Arina, Paul and Sam: I have stuff for you but I can't mail them (either it's too expensive or not allowed by the American government). Any proposals of other ways to get them to you?

If it simplifies anything, whatever method we come up with to transport the goods to me, I'm almost certain would work for Arina as well.

Yeah, Arina's stuff is pretty light and easy to transport. I didn't buy her a lot (only about 2-3 necklaces) 'cause I didn't see many good ones. Also, she and I have different tastes in jewelry so I wasn't sure what she'd like. Sorry!

Umm, expensive or illegal [read: legal]? Which one of those applies to me? XD

I have your Fushigi Yuugi still, don't forget! XD Sue and I just finished disc 5 of 6, and then after that we're on to the OVAs.

Dennis and I watched the opening ceremony together and whenever we got bored one of us would jump up and point to one of the itty bitty dots on the screen and go, "Hey look, there's Anita!" X3

Yours would be expensive. Since you requested the most stuff, I ended up buying you the most stuff. And most of it is clothes, which is expensive to ship. Paul's stuff is less shipable since it's liquid.

How'd you like FY? I thought the series was okay, just a bit long and drawn out. And the whole "everyone wants to have sex with Miaka" thing got really annoying after a while. The OVAs were a bit confusing and I'm sure I have to rewatch them at some point.

I rewatched the qualifying rounds of the men's gymnastics and tried to find me. XD I think I found the tiny white spot that may have been me; I know it was in the right section of the arena.

Wow! T_T *clings* You're so good to me.

I'm really sick of Miaka's "Let me run right into the action and screw everything up because I want to help!" attitude and not ever noticing that she is a complete failure at life. :|

I think you're confusing carry-on luggage and mailing.

It's OK to mail nonhazardous liquids as long as the container is sealed or the package is sealed to prevent damage to other mail.
