Anyway, I think I'm coherent now. Still a bit tired but coherent. Actually, I don't think I even got drunk last night. I mean, Feifei drank more than me. I was just really, really, really tired last night.
Anyway, let's start with Friday:
Went to all my classes and stayed awake for every single one of them. Yay for me. Came back to find Becca complete disoriented. She was supposed to meet Matt for lunch but she never got there. I called Matt and found out that he was still waiting so I told Becca there via bus. Ah, the bus. I have a love-hate relationship with the bus system here. We met up with Matt, had a very late lunch at the nice little Korean restaurant, and then we headed over to Matt's apartment.
Matt's got a cute little place. He had lots of dirty dishes that Becca and I washed out of boredom. Now, if only I would do my dishes; I only have two bowls. It's funny how doing other people's dishes don't feel like chore. *shrug* Go figure. After dishes were finished, we sat around the living room, listening to Evanescence and Vienna Teng. I browsed through Matt's book collection. He had the last two books of the Ender's Game series (Xenocide and Children of the Mind) but not the first two, which were the good book in that series. Sad. He also had a lot of Michael Crichton books. I skimmed through Sphere 'cause it was a good book. Scared the crap out of me at 4:00 in morning last summer. Don't know why 'cause everything took place underwater. Oh well. Mindy eventually showed up and me and Becca were kicked out. Not really that harsh but we did have to leave; they were going to dinner.
Me and Becca went back to the room, watched "Love Actually" and started on "Finding Nemo". My roomie Kathryn invited us to go watch "I <3 Huckabees" with her friends but Becca declined since she needed to get to sleep early for her SAT IIs. Sad. Me, being the bad person that I am, went to the movies, leaving poor Becca all alone. Sorry, Becca! I love you! I'm seriously regretting that selfish decision of mine now. Luckily, Feifei went to keep Becca company for a while. Thank you, Fei-chan! I love you! There's a lot of love around.
The movie was very philosophical. Kinda fucked up in that sense but it was funny. Did I understand it? No. But did I like it? Yes. Would I watch it again? Possibly, just to see if I could understand it the second time around. Do I suggest it? Eh, that's iffy. Anyway, I had fun with my roomie's friends but when they invited me to join them in some drinking, I declined 'cause I didn't want Becca to be all alone anymore. See? I do have some sort of conscience. She turned out to be asleep when I got back, which was good 'cause she had to wake up early for her tests. I went to sleep after a shower.
Bleeding into Saturday:
Becca had to get up obscenely early to get to her test; I had to walk her 'cause she can't find her way around campus. No biggie, especially since the testing center wasn't far from the 6-pack. It was damn cold, though; my ears froze to the point of hurting. After I got back to the room, I went back to sleep again (surprise surprise). Becca came back after her exam around 12:15. Afterwards, we met up with Matt at the Union for ice cream. Matt told us that he just got a little red truck, which he can't drive 'cause he doesn't have a license and that it's a manual. Funny. Then we wandered around campus for a while.
I've been meaning to get my hair highlighted for quite a while. I mean, black hair is nice and all but I've had it for 19 years. I figured it was time for a change. I wanted shades from medium brown to dirty blonde, and I wanted it to be professionally done 'cause I'm very protective of my hair. It's the only part of my body that I like. Anyway, I went to a few salons and asked their prices. $65 was the lowest price. DAMN. I think I'm either gonna have to treat myself sometime when I have money or hope someone will treat me to it as a Christmas gift or something. So expensive.
The three of us also wandered to Rentertainment. Dude, they have like everything in there. A full wall of anime. Very impressive. I'm so going back there sometime in the future. Anyway, the three of us got "Goldeneye" 'cause I heard that Sean Bean survived the first 5 mins, "Prince of Egypt" 'cause it's a good movie, and "Butch and Cassidy" 'cause Becca and Matt liked that movie. Went to Matt's apartment to watch the movies.
We didn't get far 'cause 1)Matt's computer was being stupid and 2)his family started showing up for "Hair". After everyone got there and changed, we all went to dinner at a nice Mexican place. We had to wait for quite a while but it wasn't so bad. The food was good. The service was not so good. Some waiter just whoosh, took away a plate of food before Matt's sister was done with it. She got another plate for free as a result of it. Me and Becca shared an order and it was really good. We got plenty full. Then off to "Hair"!
"Hair" was very interesting. Lots of naked people. Lots of sex. Lots of pot-smoking. Very hippy. ^_^ It was a good performance and I really enjoyed it. Loads of fun. I really liked Claude; he was cool. Before it officially started, some of the performers were mingling with the audience. Since Matt's on staff, some of the cast migrated his way and interacted with him. I was sitting next to Matt. One cast member with a black wig pulled on my hair and compared it with his. It was funny and amusing. I wanna work on a play now; nothing big, just backstage work.
After a detour to ISR Late Night, where me and Becca bumped into Feifei, we headed over to Mike's room to hang out. He had Smirnoff again! ^_^ We talked a bit and then watched "Goldeneye". Sean Bean! I swear, that man cannot survive a movie (except for "Troy"), which is a shame. I predict his death in "National Treasure". Becca fell asleep somewhere during the movie. Poor girl, she was exhausted. Then we watched some "Pirates" and assigned words for a drinking game. Everytime the words 'pirate(s)', 'Elizabeth', 'Bootstrap' and 'savvy' were said, we had to take a drink. We didn't get through the movie 'cause Mike's roommate came back and wanted to sleep. Becca woke up and we all wandered to the quad.
After we got back from the random wandering, we stopped by my room and warmed up chili to eat. I was so tired, so very tired by then. Not drunk, just extremely tired. I think I fell asleep for a little while on Mike's lap. He got really touchy-feely but I was just too tired to care. I eventually slept at 5:00 in the morning. I feel bad that I didn't walk Becca to the train station but I honestly could not have made it. So very tired.
Continuing into Sunday:
I woke at 2:30 in the afternoon. I am so fucked. I haven't done any work this entire weekend. I have a research paper due Tuesday and I can't find any info on it! >_< So screwed...
