I finally got off my lazy ass and went outside to play tennis on Friday. It was really cloudy and kinda cool, and yet all the courts by my dorm were full. Me and Mengyao had to walk a few blocks to the other court on Gregory to find an open court. We did find one and we played for like an hour and a half. I so sucked but it was fun. We even played a whole set near the end. I kicked Mengyao's ass but that's not really saying anything since he doesn't really play tennis. I got a really good work-out out of it; it was awesome. I took a nice nap after getting back to the apartment and the plan was to go watch "Sin City" but some unpleasant things came up. Oh well.

Saturday was so cool! I woke up all sore from the day before (this was not the cool part) and just slacked off until noon. Then me, Mengyao and John headed for Savoy 16 to first watch "Hitch" and then watch the Illinois-Louisville game. Yeah, the game on the big screen. It was absolutely awesome. All the cheering and yelling "I-L-L, I-N-I", jumping up and down whenever we made a shot and booing the bad calls the officials made. It was definitely a cool experience. After the game, the lot of us joined the mob in campus town. It was so crazy. Lots of orange. Shouting, yelling, high-fives, etc. Only 2 people got arrested. Pretty good for such a huge mob.

I went to the Sock Hop Sunday night. It was much fun since I actually knew how to dance. We also learned some steps of the Charleston and the tango. So, if I went back to IMSA now and got an intervis, I can literally do a horizontal tango. ^_^ The formal's only 2 weeks away. Yay!
