Random stuff
Actual next semester schedule.
I like my Tuesdays and Thursdays. Also, I have one more class that's not on there that goes from 3-5 on Wednesdays.

Today's workout:
15 mins on stairmaster (168 floors, 111 calories)
100 reps on abdominal machine (my midsection hurts)
10 leg curls (I'm lazy)
30 leg extensions (the machine was closer to the TV)

As you can tell, I'm working on my lower body. Once those are less flabby, I'll work on the upper body.

Texas. They've just banned gay marriage. I believe they also banned anything "identical or similar to marriage". Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't marriage identical or similar to marriage? If so, I guess marriage is banned. Hm...smart.

I have no faith in my proficiency-taking skills. Hopefully, it'll be an easy A for me that will boost my GPA. God knows I need the boost.

Me don't have link...

You should at least just take it and fail.

"Sec. 32. (a) Marriage in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman.
(b) This state or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to marriage."

The (b) clause prevents lower authorities from creating the so-called "civil unions" some groups are proposing as alternatives to gay "marriage."

I understand what they meant, but their wording is just stupid. They're stupid.

The spirit of the law is clear. They're stupid for other reasons.

They're not going to force married couples to get sewn together because marriage is the "union" of a man and a woman, right?

Also, what's even _more_ fun is the fact that the banning of gay marriage was already accomplished _without_ this amendment. Gay marriage and civil unions both were already illegal, and the 2003 Defense of Marriage Act stopped Texas from recognizing such marriages or civil unions as formed in other states.

So basically, this accomplishes 2 things: it further cements this idiotic ideology (the amendment being non-repealable by the judicial branch), and it likely increases the popularity of the obviously intolerant incumbent government.

Whee!

Yeah, I knew that. I repeat the stupid remark. Stupid, stupid.

I just can't imagine it's very healthy to be waking up at drastically different times on different days of the week... it bother's me to have start-times of 9,9,9,10,9.
