Nature prevails
My parents woke up Friday morning to discover that some deer had gotten into the little vegetable garden they grew in the backyard and eaten some of their vegetable leaves. So after work on Friday, they worked to raise the make-shift fence thing they had so it wouldn't happen again. I was woken up this morning by my parents saying things like "They got in again" and "They ate all of it."

Current score:
Deer: 2
Parents: 0

We had rabbit problems last year and that's why my parents put the fence thingy up this year. But it seems that nature predicted this and sent bigger animals after the vegetables this year. With the rate it's going, I expect an elephant by next year.

LoL mine had problems with squirrels. They are devious. I don't care if they eat what we grow, but they don't, they just taste it. There are lots of cucumbers that the squirrels took a bite out of, then they learned to go after baby cucumbers... *sigh*

I'm surprised we don't have squirrel problems. Maybe we don't grow anything they can nibble on.

Hahahaha, it's like House vs. God. I think it's time for your parents to win the next one.

But you seem awfully happy about this...

That's 'cause I'm forced to eat what they grow, whether I like it or not.

OMG! Maybe there's a were-rabbit running around our neighborhood. Do were-rabbits leave hoofprints? My parents swear they saw hoofprints. It could've been a devious were-rabbit, though.

Was it a good movie? For some reason, claymation scares me.

It's like any little Wallce and Gromit movie. It doesn't make the claymation seem that scary.

It's a family movie it seems - will entertain the kids but will have a few subtle things for the adults to smile at that the kids will not pick up.

To me, I saw a lot of their movies when I was younger and liked them, so they mean something to me.
