I feel like posting every weekend here at UIUC, even if it was really boring.

My birthday was last Wednesday but my parents couldn't have possibly made it down then so they came down on Saturday. It's really annoying that we only have one cell phone in the family 'cause if I don't know when exactly they'll get here, I have to wait for a really long time most of the times. Stupid. They said they'd be here around 11:00 but they got here around noon. They took me out to a Chinese restaurant, of course, and then ordered something for my dinner. Little did I know that the food will probably last me much of the next week. So much food...

I wanted to watch a movie afterwards 'cause "Wimbledon" just came out but my dad didn't want to. Bummer. So we drove back to Forbes after a quick stop at Walgreens. I opened my numerous presents in the car. I got a Gucci purse and wallet from my aunt in Minnesota and also lots of 3M office stuff 'cause she works there. Gucci! I also got another purse from my second great-aunt. I got lots of beef jerky from China from James' mom. Yuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm! I finished a bag in like a day. My parents brought a lot of food as well. I will never go hungry again! I finally got the wisecrack T-shirts that I wanted from China. I have two that says "I don't want to pay attention to you" on the front and "Come find me in the next life" on the back. Great anti-social shirt. I have one that says "I eat, don't wash dishes" and another that says "I only wash dishes, don't eat". So great. The last one I got says "I'm a beautiful girl" on the front and "Come chance me" on the back. Colin's getting one that says "I'm a handsome guy" on the front and "Marry me" on the back. Hilarious. My present from my parents was this fluffly, light blue bathrobe. Oh, it's soooooooo soft and fluffy. I love it. ^_^

My parents left after that and I went up and did work until I got a call from Joanna. She told me that Brian was visiting and that I should go over to her room. So I did, or at least I walked over towards her room. I met Joanna and Brian on the way and we wandered the campus for like an hour. Then we went back to my room 'cause I was hungry and wanted to eat some of my Chinese food. Joanna left after a while but Brian and I kept on talking until about 10:00. Then we walked towards Hendrick, me to visit Paul and Brian to get to his car. We said goodbye at Hendrick. Me and Paul watched a few episodes of "Family Guy", which were hilarious, and then I went back to my room. I actually worked more on my lab report and then went to sleep.

Ras woke me up at 3:00 in the afternoon and I talked to her for like 30 mins. Then I worked some more till Feifei called me. I went to dinner at the Korean restaurant we like with Feifei and her dad. Afterwards, we drove to this little Chinese store and bought some stuff for the movie, and then Feifei's dad drove us to the theater. He broke about four traffic laws getting there but there were no cops around. Lucky bum. We got to the theater, watched the awesome movie, bought some stuff at Meijer, got stranded and then rescued, and finally got back to my room. I did more work and then went to sleep after having a small snack. And that was my weekend.
