Japanese dorama

I need more J-dorama to watch. Puripuri D is weekly so I have that to keep up with. I'm slowly downloading all of Yasha, which is a sci-fi drama. I've heard good things about Water Boys but James apparently thinks it's only so-so. I'll have to get that from him eventually. There's a new school-comedy one called My Boss, My Hero that sounds interesting, but I gotta wait for it to be subtitled. >.< It's not like Puripuri D where I can just simply be amused by the boys in pink frilly dresses.

Tenimyu boys I've seen in dresses: KenKen, Takuya (dress and bikini), Saito, Kotani, Endo, Yanagi
My fandom likes to cross-dress. Pink is the color of preference. XD

Yasha is boring as all hell. You would think a dorama about evil twins would be fun to watch. I just regret I wasted 2 days downloading it.

Remember my addiction to J-dorama this past year? I know scores of series better than Water Boys. Maybe I would have loved Water Boys if it were the first jdorama i had ever seen...but it doesn't scream originality.

I don't know. I like Yasha so far. Maybe it's just my morbid curiosity to find out what happens (don't tell me!) or it could be the fact that little Endo Yuya is so cute. Who knows? It's only 11 eps so I'll finish it. I've realized that I liking finishing series, despite how bad they are. Elfen Lied was bad but I bore through it. Tenjo Tenge was horrible but I somehow managed to finish it.

And Water Boys doesn't scream original 'cause it's not original. It only came out after the movie did so well. Watch the movie; I hear it's a lot better than the series. And did you watch the first or the second series of Water Boys?

Well, in all fairness. I skimmed Yasha and it seemed boring. I decided I didn't wanna invest a week into all the betrayal and angstyness. I shoulda known you just got into it cuz of some actor.

I'm still a few episodes away from finishing the first Water Boys. I hear Water Boys II is an exact carbon copy of the original only with different guys. The dance moves are apparently even the same.

Yes, I only started watching because of Endo Yuya. But I'm continuing 'cause I'm kinda drawn in and curious about the story. You download via bittorrent or each episode individually?

I downloaded each episode separately thank god. I only got to episode 8 before I decided it was a waste of hard drive space.

Nope, haven't seen the movie. I'm taking a break from dorama to catch up on 5 seasons of Will & Grace. Have you seen The Office (Uk version)? It's bloody brilliant.

No, although I'd be very interested to. I'm convinced that all of the tenimyu boys will eventually cross-dress sometime in their lives.

And it will be a pink dress 'cause that seems to be the trend. KenKen, Takuya, Nakamura, Endo. All in pink. I don't quite remember Saito and Kotani's dresses but I'm sure they had pink on them.

Yup, Chinese by birth and by blood. I moved to the US when I was relatively young so I forgot most of my Chinese, though. It's quite sad.

I probably won't have time for it, either. It's more of a hopeful wish. I'll just have to glue my eyeballs to

moonrainty's LJ for translations and such.

I can read very little. Think first grade level Chinese. And only simplified.

I'm willing to wait. My connection at home is crap anyway so downloading's really slow for me. Once I get back to school, it'll go a lot faster.
